b-buddies Charity Event- Race Day Challenge

On Sunday 10th June 2018 b-buddies are hosting a charity event to raise money for Rainbows Hospice!

Challenge yourself and see how many laps you can do in your chosen time or how long it takes you to do so many laps of the Leicester Cycle Circuit. Sponsorship forms will be sent to you via email when you sign up.
The circuit will be open from 1:00pm till 2:30pm for children age 2+ to use the circuit for completing their challenge. At the top of the sponsorship form there is space for the rider to note down the challenge they are setting themselves. The 1km circuit will be split so that only a third will be used during the children's time.
At 3:30pm till 5:30pm the whole 1km circuit will be open for adults and advanced children to use the circuit to complete their challenge. This is not just for the speedy racers, if you are not so compitent but still wanting to take part and want to make it easier you are able to just use a third or two of the circuit!
Get in touch for more details on how the Challenge is open to all ages and abilities, we can also help you decide on your target.
At 2:45pm b-buddies will be hosting a Balance Bike race.

This will be open to children age 2+, depending on the amount of riders that turn up depends on the amount of races that will take place and the categories that they will be split into.

This won't be just a boring tarmac race, equipment from the
b-buddies' Adventure Challenge will be positioned around the circuit. This includes ramps, board walks, balancing planks, limbo poles and more. First, second and third place will recieve a trophie.

At 3:15pm there will be a Brompton race.

To keep with the tradition of Brompton races, riders are welcome to dress in smart clothes (as long as they are suitable to ride in).

The race will start with the bikes folded up, riders will dash to a point, unfold the bikes and jump on with a sprint around to the finish. Just as you would if you were running late to work.

Food and drinks are available as well as an appearance from Leicester City Football Club's Mascot Filbert Fox!
So come on... join in the fun, challenge yourself and raise some money for such a great cause while having a fab family day out!
